My daughter has recently had a couple of lessons with Tom having first met him last year for some lessons. After a break from skateboarding she had very little confidence but Tom has an amazing way of instilling confidence and self-believe in youngsters. She is now hooked on skateboarding and wanting to practise her skills all the time! In particular she had a mental block about dropping-in but after one 1:1 lesson with Tom's expert teaching and encouragement, she has now achieved this confidently! Tom's knowledge and teaching methods are second-to-none, he tailors lessons to the individuals needs. Would highly recommend!!

There is something magical about Tom’s coaching - it feels almost like I’m being hypnotised. I can do things I never thought possible, although I guess Tom knew it was and that I was ready and deep down wanted to do it.

Tom’s special gift is being able to do the same for a whole range of people with different abilities and ages and his teaching feels very individual.  More than that it's so much fun and I always come away buzzing.

We met Tom today for my 9 year olds first ever go at skateboarding. Jack was nervous and excited all in one. Tom clicked with him immediately. Jack can be shy and has ASC his sensory processing can be tricky for him at times so I too had my fingers crossed! 

They started chatting and got stuck into tricks. The smile on Jack's face and his sheer joy at nailing the tricks one after the other was priceless. Tom pitched this lesson perfectly allowing Jack to succeed with an element of challenge whilst working on his confidence, self belief and breathing throughout. I cannot recommend him enough. My 7yo had a fantastic 1:1 lesson with Tom today. My son is a sensitive soul and has struggled with his confidence lately. It was quite a daunting prospect approaching the skatepark with all the bigger kids whizzing around ‘like pros’. However, Tom put him at ease immediately. He has a very special way of combining skateboard instruction with positive mindset, making it incredibly fun, whilst installing confidence and self-belief. My son came away buzzing with excitement, and can’t wait to practice all the skills he learnt! (And book his next lesson!)

We were lucky enough to meet Tom at a festival. My son is incredibly cautious and struggles to try new things. Tom has an amazing talent to connect with people to guide them to have belief without pushing the boundaries too much in facing fears. My son has had a few 1-1s and has the bug. This is a safe space for children to learn to skate but more importantly leave with confidence, a buzz and a sparkle. For this I am incredibly grateful and can’t wait for the journey 🙏
